Chief Quality and Training Officer

Chief Quality and Training Officer — The Chief Quality and Training Officer reports to the LUYH Executive Director and shall be a minimum of 21 years of age, pass all background clearances, qualify for the LUYH approved drivers list, CPR/first aid certified and shall meet at least one of the

following qualifications:

The STRTP Chief Quality and Training Officer will work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

  • A Master's Degree in a behavioral science from an accredited college or university and one-year experience as an administrator, social worker, direct care staff, or independent contractor providing direct social work activities in a group home or STRTP.

  • A Master's Degree and one year of experience working with youth.

  • A Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience working with youth.

  • A licensed mental health professional.

  • Three years of experience as a trainer for a group home or STRTP.

 

Additionally, the Chief Quality and Training Officer shall meet all the following qualifications:

  • Two years of experience leading continuous quality improvement activities at a group home, STRTP, or other youth serving agency.

  • Proven expertise in developing, analyzing, and reporting on data.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated high level skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, and a database software program.

 

The Chief Quality and Training Officer shall be responsible for the following duties:

  • The development and approval by LUYH Administrators and CDSS of initial and ongoing training plans for direct care staff and Facility Managers.

  • Maintenance of a database of all training sessions, including length of time, topic, presenter name and qualifications, location, attendees, and documentation of learning and feedback concerning the training.

  • Development, implementation, and reporting on a continuous quality improvement plan consistent with all pertinent legal, regulatory, contractual requirements, and LUYH policies and procedure

The Chief Quality and Training Officer reports to the Executive Director
