My name is Fred Thiel. I have been working with Reverend Randolph Johnson and Mrs. Yolanda Johnson at Lift Up Your Head, Inc. since November 30, 2010. I work the Graveyard shift and have done so since my employment with LUYH, Inc. I have come to really appreciate the dedication and professionalism that I have found at LUYH, Inc. The experiences that have led to the enlargement of their spirit also inspire a high degree of empathy which has been shown by the long lasting relationships that they have been able to establish and maintain with staff and service partners. I hope to work for Reverend and Mrs. Johnson as long as they will have me.
Mary Richardson
FACILITY MANAGER
My name is Mary Richardson I started working with disadvantaged children when I was at the age of 16 working for the City of Stockton helping the city by being a support to those who where in need. I worked for the City of Stockton for 3 years. I later became a Sales-Retention agent for Comcast cable. Selling cable and keeping valuable customers. during this period of time I also assisted my mother working with disabled adults to get the learn how to live in society. I them worked as a Distribution Expeditor- Supervisor for about 6 years..While I went back to school to obtain more education I then decided to go back to my passion of working with youth. I am currently working with kids that have Mental Health issues. Being a support to them and their families allowing me to help them off the edge and get back some sort of Normal. I feel like being able to talk to our youth and support them allowing them to know their is hope for a brighter future, this is what I hope and plan to bring to LUYH.
Willie Thompson
CARE STAFF
As a Direct Care Staff here at Lift up Your Head, Willie Thompson had over ten years of experience working with the juvenile youth in California. From providing care plans to support parents of children with disabilities, to establishing an environment to allow children to grow physically, emotionally, and socially, there is nothing else Willie Thompson would rather be doing. He graduated with his AA in sociology at Delta College and his BA in sociology at California State University, Stanislaus. He now resides with his family in Stockton, California.
Mia Washington
HUMAN RESOURCES
Mia Washington serves as the Human Resource Director for Lift Up Your Head Inc. and is also a member of the Board of Directors. As a seasoned professional with experience in community service as a retired law enforcement officer. She most recently is serves as a Leader with Sutter Healthcare Systems providing operational excellence and delivering and revising financial performance for the Revenue Cycle team. Mia chairs as the Scholarship Director for the Healing Emotional Conference and assistant to the Conference President. Mia’s passion is serving God and the community through community outreach and helping other who are in crisis. Her long term goal and desire to able to provide a safe haven for families who are need of a second chance.
